Everyday fitness test

Aim:

Sports motor test to record everyday fitness

Statement:

Test of everyday physical fitness compared to normal values.

Task description:

1. Leg strength

2. Arm strength

3. Perseverance

4. Hip mobility

5. Shoulder mobility

6. Skill

1.
Number of times a participant who is seated (chair / stool approx. 43 cm high) can stand up completely within 30 seconds without using their arms.

 

2.

Number of elbow crooks with a "dumbbell" that a participant can perform within 30 seconds. The weight is 2.3 kg for women and 3.6 kg for men.

 

3.
Number of in-place steps that can be taken in 2 minutes, raising each knee to a height equal to the center of the hipbone and kneecap when standing.

 

4th
The participant sits on the front edge of a chair and tries to reach the tip of an outstretched leg with both hands. The distance in cm that is missing from the tip of the foot (minus) or the distance of the fingertips that protrude beyond the tip of the foot (plus) is measured.

 

5.
The participant tries to bring the middle fingers together on the back as much as possible with one hand over the shoulder on one hand below the shoulder (plus or minus).

 

6th
Number of seconds it takes a participant to get up from a chair, walk around a marker 2.4 meters away, and then sit down again.

 

Execution:

  • Equipment and material:

Chair / stool; Folding rule / tape measure; Dumbbells & cones

  • Test skill tests one after the other

Documentation:

  • Add up the points at the end (min. -12; max. +18) and determine the level

  • E.g. AFT-5 H1, A0, S2, F1, B0, G1

  • E.g. AFT- -2 H0, A-2, S1, F1, B-2, G0
